Get Ready For The Beach At The Bash!

Last year's Beauty On The Beach Bash was so much fun we're doing it again in a big way! Beauty experts and Washington women looking for their best summer look came together for a the perfect lead in to Memorial Day.

Summer is a such a fun time of the year and a lot of us consider it our favorite season, but it does pose some beauty issues...like hair removal, looking good in a bathing suit, frizz hair, safe tanning and...well maybe there more than a few issues. Answers to those problems plus tips on well...everything under the sun will be at the two events.

May 11th it's Beauty On The Beach Bash in Friendship Heights on the terrace of Indique Heights from 6 to 9pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

On May 18th the bash moves to Virginia and the Tysons Corner/Vienna area at the Westwood Country Club also from 6 to 9pm with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the March of Dimes of the National Capital Area.

There will be lots more information coming but save the date and buy your ticket early before they sell out at www.beautyonthebeachbash.com.

After snowmeggedon we all need a day (or two) at the beach so hope to see you there!

Dysport's Love It or Leave It Challenge

Maybe you were frowning a lot at the weather forecasts this winter and have deepened the lines between your eyes...or maybe the "smile" lines at the corner of your eyes don't seem as cute anymore...

There is a nice rebate going on by the makers of Dysport, the prescription injection used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults less than 65 years of age.

They're calling it the Dysport "Love It or Leave It" Challenge and you could save up to $150 if you take action before April 30th, 2010.

Here's how it works:

Within 14 days after your first Dysport treatment, you must sign up for the Dysport Challenge, download your Dysport Coupon Rebate Form, and mail the rebate form and itemized receipt. You can get a $75 Rebate Check whether or not you have a second treatment.

If you love your treatment and get a second Dysport treatment you'll get another $75 rebate for a total savings of $150.

If you don't love it, and your doctor chooses to treat you with another botulinum toxin type A
product they'll rebate $75 of the treatment cost.

There are some conditions:

  • You must wait a minimum of 3 months between your first and second treatments.
  • Within 14 days after your second treatment, mail the rebate form and itemized receipt.

You can sign up and read more of the fine print and conditions at http://www.dysportusa.com/dc_choose.aspx.

It's a smart marketing campaign and incentive for giving Dysport a try, since as the saying goes there's nothing to lose!
